Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Dubai seeks a senior project leadership professional to drive complex engagements in the Transport & Logistics sector, delivering strategy, execution and value creation for clients.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and guide capital project life cycles across the GCC with a results‑driven, collaborative approach.

Travel as required and present findings to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business administration, Economy, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10 years experience in project management and business development, ideally within management consulting.
• 8-10 years experience in Transport & Logistics with 4-5 years in GCC.
• Proven experience in the capital project life cycle across value chain steps (capital strategy, financing, delivery, asset management & optimization, PPPs).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to articulate ideas to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Self-starter with strong business acumen and a results-driven approach.
• Ability to understand client's challenges and issues.
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of project workstreams and identify opportunities for process improvement within the assigned tasks.
• Conduct meetings and presentations with clients and internal managerial/executive stakeholders, showcasing proficiency and confidence.
• Collaborate with teams and clients, engaging in negotiations and fostering effective partnerships between leadership.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, seeking to understand their needs and contributing to their satisfaction.
• Participate in industry events and associations to broaden professional connections and identify potential growth avenues.
• Contribute to the identification and pursuit of new business prospects, aligned with the strategic goals of the company
• Drive project analyses, propose actionable plans, and exhibit strong decision-making capabilities.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities while effectively guiding project delivery.
