Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Senior Projects Manager for our client in Dubai to lead a diverse portfolio of large-scale developments across the UAE and KSA. You will oversee design, construction, and facility management, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and quality standards.

The role requires a Civil/Architecture/Real Estate background, 10+ years in real estate development, strong leadership, and familiarity with FIDIC contracts. UAE/KSA experience and professional certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate development and project management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, complex, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary and multi-stakeholder projects.
• Experience working on projects within the UAE and/or KSA.
• Strong knowledge of pre- and post-contract management and FIDIC regulations.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certification is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of project controls, commercial management, cost optimisation, risk management, and contractual matters.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project management strategies, frameworks, KPIs, and delivery standards.
• Lead and oversee the overall project portfolio across the UAE and KSA.
• Manage projects across the full lifecycle, from design development and tendering through construction, completion, and handover.
• Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Oversee design management across architectural, structural, MEP, electrical, safety, and security disciplines.
• Lead procurement, tendering, contract negotiations, vendor management, and contract administration.
• Manage variations, claims, change orders, and contractual matters in accordance with FIDIC principles.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow, cost forecasts, resource utilisation, and financial performance.
• Identify project risks, delays, and escalations and implement mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Manage consultants, contractors, service providers, government authorities, and other key stakeholders.
• Establish effective project governance, reporting, and performance monitoring mechanisms.
• Provide regular project and portfolio updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing project management team.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardised project management methodologies, digital tools, and industry best practices.

About the Role
