Job summary

Visa is seeking an experienced Director Government Solutions for UAE to lead government payments growth across the UAE, translating public sector priorities into scalable commercial opportunities.

You will build trusted relationships with federal and local government stakeholders and collaborate across product, legal, and government engagement teams to deliver high-impact initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10 years in government/state-owned/public sector sales and BD.
• Strong understanding of UAE public sector operations and procurement.
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior public sector stakeholders.
• Proven track record turning client needs into compelling propositions and deals.
• Experience with complex commercial opportunities from origination to execution.

Responsibilities

• Expand and deepen Visa Government Solutions strategy and pipeline in UAE.
• Build trusted relationships with federal and local government stakeholders.
• Engage issuers, program managers, processors, FI partners for government clients.
• Develop market strategies and account plans to grow revenue and market share.
• Coordinate with product, legal, solutioning, and government engagement teams for RFPs and proposals.
• Identify market needs and shape propositions and roadmaps with regional/global teams.
• Report on pipeline, performance, and KPIs; manage risks and opportunities.
• Align with UAE Country Manager on priorities and execution.
• Collaborate with Marketing to position Visa as a government payments leader.
