Confidential Careers in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Director, Financial Reporting to lead the Group's financial reporting, consolidation, statutory reporting, IFRS compliance, and audit coordination across multiple entities. You will drive accuracy, timeliness, and governance of financial information for executive leadership and regulators.

The role entails managing complex consolidations, IFRS technical accounting matters, and strengthening internal controls while guiding finance teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
• Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/ACA/CA) mandatory.
• Master's degree is advantageous.
• 15 years of accounting/financial reporting experience with at least 5 in senior leadership.
• Experience leading group consolidations and IFRS reporting.
• Experience in diversified or listed groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee group consolidation processes and reporting cycles.
• Ensure timely, accurate regulatory reporting and compliance.
• Act as IFRS SME and advise on technical accounting matters.
• Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial governance.
• Develop policies and reporting standards for the group.
• Partner with executives and Audit Committee on reporting.
• Drive process improvements and automation in reporting.
