Job summary

Atribs Metscon Group is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage statutory reporting, consolidation, and IFRS compliance in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, detailed balance sheet analysis, and collaboration with auditors and business units to ensure accurate financial disclosures.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years in statutory reporting or related finance roles, a relevant degree, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and ability to apply across reporting entities.
• Hands-on experience in group reporting and financial consolidation processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review standalone financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) for IFRS compliance and accuracy.
• Analyze balance sheet schedules and supporting docs, highlighting key issues for senior management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to facilitate statutory audits.
• Identify and remediate reporting, disclosure, and compliance issues with management.
