Job summary

Confidential in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a seasoned Financial Controller to lead the monthly and annual close across our multi-entity group. You will ensure balance sheet integrity, run P&L analyses and manage consolidation and intercompany eliminations.

Responsibilities include statutory reporting under IFRS, management reporting with KPI commentary for the Board, and serving as the primary contact for external auditors. A Big Four background and 12–15+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• ACCA or CPA professional qualification required.
• 12 to 15+ years of progressive experience in audit, financial reporting and controllership, including 3 to 5 years in a Financial Controller or senior reporting role.
• Big Four audit experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and annual financial close across group entities.
• Prepare group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations.
• Manage trial balance reviews and variance analyses.
• Oversee statutory reporting under IFRS and local regulations.
• Provide management reporting and KPI commentary for senior leadership.
• Liaise with external auditors during audits.
