Job description

The Group Financial Director will be responsible for the strategic oversight, management, and optimization of the group’s overall general ledger, financial compliance, and cross-border financial operations. This role requires a seasoned financial leader to direct the financial auditing, internal controls, and consolidated reporting for our headquarters in Dubai and global subsidiaries (including Kenya, KSA, Morocco, and the USA). The ideal candidate will establish rigorous financial discipline, drive cost-efficiency, and provide accurate data-driven insights to support the executive management in business transformation and global expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Group Ledger Management & Consolidation: Oversee and manage the group's general ledger, ensuring standard accounting practices across all geographical locations. Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes and timely output of consolidated financial statements for the UAE HQ and global subsidiaries in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
  2. Subsidiary Auditing & Financial Oversight: Establish robust tracking and routine audit mechanisms for overseas operations. Review subsidiary ledgers, independent project cost allocations, and cash flows to ensure rigorous compliance with group financial regulations.
  3. Independent Project Accounting & Cost Control: Monitor and enforce the Independent Project Accounting system. Review market budgets, team operational costs, and vendor procurement procedures to eliminate unnecessary financial variance and drive bottom-line margin growth.
  4. Cross-Border Tax & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with regional corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, and financial regulations across the UAE, KSA, US, and African entities. Manage transfer pricing risks and optimize cross-border funds flows safely.
  5. Financial Digitalization & Reporting: Drive the optimization and centralization of the Group ERP system. Provide weekly/monthly management reports, variance analyses, and cash flow forecasts directly to the Managing Director to support tactical business pivots.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Qualifications: Must hold a recognized professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 3–5 years in a regional/group financial role managing multi-entity cross-border consolidation.
  • Deep understanding of international tax frameworks (including UAE Corporate Tax/VAT and Saudi tax regulations).
  • Hands‑on proficiency with major ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle) and financial BI tools.
  • Strongly results-oriented, high professional ethics, and excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (written and verbal).
