Job summary

MIE events FZCO in Dubai seeks a seasoned Group Financial Director to oversee the group’s general ledger, consolidation, and financial operations across the UAE HQ and overseas subsidiaries. You will drive IFRS/GAAP compliance, strengthen internal controls, and steer cross-border reporting to support strategic transformation and global expansion.

Qualifications

8–10 years of progressive financial management experience.
3–5 years in regional/group cross-border consolidation.
Fluent English and Chinese communication.
Proficient with ERP systems and BI tools.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the group's general ledger and consolidation across UAE HQ and international subsidiaries.
Lead month-end and year-end closings and consolidated financial statements in IFRS/GAAP.
Establish audit mechanisms for overseas operations and review subsidiary ledgers.
Monitor project accounting, costs, and procurement to reduce variances.
Ensure cross-border tax compliance across UAE, KSA, US, and African entities.
Drive ERP centralization and provide weekly/monthly management reports and cash flow forecasts.
