Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks a seasoned Sous Chef - Dim Sum Production Kitchen to lead the Dim Sum team within the Culinary department. The candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality presentation, and drive cost control in a 5-star setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in a 5-star kitchen environment including substantial experience in Dim Sum Production and kitchen leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Dim Sum Production cuisine, including cost control and pricing of ingredients and supplies.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members to achieve high performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with staff and management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to oversee inventory and daily kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Dim Sum Production kitchen to ensure efficiency, consistency and culinary standards.
• Monitor resource consumption and optimize equipment, ingredients and inventory use.
• Develop weekly set menus, monthly promotions and seasonal offerings with the Executive Chef.
• Lead, coach and support the kitchen team to sustain high performance and teamwork.
