Digital Content Specialist - Ecommerce Copywriting in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a Retail opportunity for an experienced bilingual content professional with strong expertise in digital copywriting, SEO, ecommerce content, CRM communication, and multi-channel campaign execution. Al-Futtaim is hiring a Digital Content Specialist to create and optimize customer-facing content across IKEA websites, apps, email, push notifications, WhatsApp, and other digital touchpoints while supporting commercial campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement objectives.
The Digital Content Specialist will help shape how customers experience IKEA across digital channels by turning commercial priorities, product information, campaigns, and service messages into clear and engaging content. The role combines creative copywriting with ecommerce performance objectives. Content must remain consistent with brand tone while also supporting customer discovery, engagement, conversion, and sales. Close coordination with Digital Merchandising, Customer Experience, Marketing, Commercial, and Ecommerce teams will ensure that messaging remains relevant across each stage of the digital customer journey. Performance data, SEO practices, and customer behavior insights will be used continuously to improve content quality and commercial effectiveness.
Ideal Profile Candidates should hold a Bachelor 's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a similar discipline and have approximately 4-5 years of professional experience in digital content creation, copywriting, content management, ecommerce content, or CRM communications. Proven experience writing for websites, mobile applications, email campaigns, push notifications, messaging channels, and other digital platforms is required. Strong written English and Arabic skills are important because the role supports customer communication across both languages. Candidates should understand SEO, SEM, digital content optimization, customer engagement principles, and the relationship between content quality and ecommerce performance. Practical experience working with content management systems is expected. Familiarity with Adobe InCopy, Adobe InDesign, or comparable content and layout tools will be valuable. Experience collaborating with Merchandising, Marketing, Ecommerce, or Commercial teams will strengthen suitability. The successful professional will combine creativity with commercial awareness, strong editing discipline, stakeholder management capability, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines without compromising content quality.
