Job summary

IKEA is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to create, edit and optimise content across its digital channels. You will work with Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Experience and Digital teams to deliver customer-focused, commercially strong content aligned with IKEA's tone of voice and priorities.

Responsibilities include managing content calendars, delivering campaigns, and supporting global launches and promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of digital content creation and CRM content experience.
• Experience creating content for websites, apps, email, and push notifications.
• Strong SEO, SEM, and digital content optimization knowledge.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects with stakeholders.
• Excellent English and Arabic copywriting and editing skills.
• Familiarity with CMS and design tools like Adobe InCopy/InDesign.
• Experience with Merchandising/Marketing or Ecommerce teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and optimise copy across IKEA's digital channels (website, app, email, push, WhatsApp).
• Support customer engagement and sales through compelling content.
• Manage content across channels while upholding IKEA's tone of voice.
• Plan content aligned with calendars, campaigns, and trading priorities.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Customer Experience, Marketing and Digital teams.
• Monitor content performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Apply SEO and best practices to improve visibility.
• Analyse customer behavior to enhance content effectiveness.
