Job summary

Client of Michael Page is seeking a Manager - Development in the UAE to oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale master-planned projects. You will lead product development, master planning and coordination with design consultants to ensure on-schedule delivery within budget.

The role requires a strong background in real estate development in the UAE, a degree in a related field, and a track record delivering complex residential or mixed-use developments with rigorous feasibility and approvals

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, real estate, finance or related discipline.
Around 13+ years of real estate development experience within the UAE market recently.
Proven experience delivering residential, mixed-use or master-planned developments.
Strong understanding of development feasibility, planning approvals and development processes.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants and preparing development briefs.

Responsibilities

Manage product development and master planning for mixed-use projects.
Initiate projects and coordinate development briefs.
Support master planning and product development aligning projects with market demands and sustainability objectives.
Manage all aspects of development process including due diligence entitlements construction and project closeout.
Work closely with design consultants to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within budget.
Coordinate with architects, engineers and specialist consultants to ensure timely project progression.
Monitor project budgets programmes and key development milestones.
Review development proposals and provide commercial and technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage consultant appointments, contracts and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with relevant UAE planning regulations development guidelines and statutory requirements.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to support successful delivery.
Prepare presentations reports and updates for senior management and key stakeholders.
Support financial planning forecasting and cost monitoring throughout the development process.
