Job summary

Omanyp, a leading UAE real estate developer, seeks a senior Head of Development to lead multi-project portfolios, ensuring quality and on-time delivery. You will drive master planning, stakeholder engagement with investors and authorities, and align design with market demand.

You will oversee budgets, forecasts, and sustainability initiatives, while guiding cross-functional teams across design, delivery, and sales to maximize profitability and market impact in the UAE.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in real estate development.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Prior UAE experience mandatory.
• Strong project management and multi-project handling.
• Knowledge of local regulations, zoning, and permitting.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and investors.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in the conceptualization and execution of development projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
• Manage relationships with investors, government authorities, and strategic partners, to facilitate project approvals and smooth execution.
• Provide strategic guidance on design and master planning, ensuring alignment with market demands and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure the successful realization of the project's vision and business case.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the development function, optimizing processes and workflows for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop comprehensive marketing and sales strategies for new developments, maximizing market penetration and revenue generation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices, leveraging market intelligence to inform decision-making and strategy formulation.
• Oversee the preparation of project budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring expenditure and revenue streams to optimize project profitability.

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree is preferred
• Minimum 18+ years of experience in real estate development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Prior UAE experience is mandatory
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of local regulations, zoning laws, and permitting processes related to real estate development
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
