Job summary

Klanik Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Desktop Engineer to join our IT team. The role delivers on-site support across Windows, macOS and basic Linux, solves hardware issues, and ensures stable user productivity.

You will manage networking basics, administer Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, provide remote help with TeamViewer, RDP, SCCM and Intune, and handle IT tickets via ServiceNow, Jira or Zendesk, delivering top-tier end-user support.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer or IT Support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS and basic Linux.
Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite IT support across Windows, macOS, and basic Linux environments.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues with PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Manage basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Administer Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
Provide remote support using TeamViewer, RDP, SCCM and Intune.
Manage IT support tickets through ServiceNow, Jira or Zendesk.
Develop and maintain basic scripts using PowerShell and batch.
Deliver excellent technical support and customer service to end users.
