Job summary

Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol is seeking a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to assist the Pastry Chef with production of all pastry and bakery items for outlets and banquets, ensuring consistency with hotel standards and financial objectives.

You will contribute to menu execution, oversee a small pastry team under guidance, maintain high hygiene and safety practices, and use MS Office and recipe systems to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ideally with an apprenticeship or professional diploma in Food Production with pastry specialisation.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Demi Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in a larger operation.
• Good practical, operational and administrative skills with a flair for creativity.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and health and safety standards.
• Basic computer skills in MS Office; Recipe Maintenance System preferred.

Responsibilities
