Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in information systems with an MA/MS or 7+ years with a BS/BA.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise IT or data programs.
• Demonstrated support for cloud data platforms, analytics, or data initiatives.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incident response activities for data platform and application incidents, ensuring timely detection, escalation, and resolution
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for significant incidents and document corrective actions
• Manage the problem management process, tracking recurring issues and long-term remediation plans
• Serve as Security & Compliance Engineer to implement and monitor security controls across the operational environment
• Develop incident response runbooks, escalation procedures, and stakeholder communication protocols
• Track and report incident and problem management metrics such as MTTR and SLA compliance
• Partner with DevSecOps and data governance teams to integrate security requirements into operational processes

Requirements

• MA/MS degree with 5+ years or BS/BA degree with 7+ years of general experience in information systems
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise IT or data programs
• Demonstrated experience supporting cloud data platforms, analytics, or data initiatives
• Proficiency with SQL for data querying and validation
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira and Confluence
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS/GovCloud
• ITIL, Security+, or AWS certifications
• Experience supporting AI/ML and advanced analytics initiatives
• Federal or regulated-environment experience
