Job summary

GDIT is seeking a data engineering specialist in Dubai to design and implement cloud-based BI and data reporting solutions using AWS. You will build data pipelines, tune big data environments, and manage IAM policies to support scalable BI across multiple sources.

The role requires 4+ years of experience with Spark, AWS services, and BI report development, with preferred skills in Scala or Python and experience with CMS-friendly data environments including FWA data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Spark experience.
• 3 years of AWS services experience.
• Proficiency in BI report development.
• Experience with Big Data technologies like S3, Snowflake, or Databricks.

• Utilize Spark and AWS cloud to retrieve data from S3/Postgres SQL and set up triggers
• Design and implement cloud-based BI and data reporting solutions using AWS
• Build data pipelines and workflows to integrate data from multiple sources into a centralized BI platform
• Perform tuning in big data environments and manage AWS IAM concepts
• Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability
• Develop BI reports using SAP Business Objects and Power BI

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 4+ years of related experience
• Minimum 2 years of Spark experience

• Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) report development

• Experience with the Agile framework
• Ability to pass a CMS background check and meet residency requirements
