Job summary

GDIT in Dubai seeks a senior Data Scientist to design and implement AI/ML solutions across the suite, from prototype to production, including GenAI with LLMs and RAG.

You will lead AI/ML initiatives, work with cloud AI services (AWS Bedrock, Lambda, SageMaker), mentor junior data scientists, and collaborate with data engineers to ensure scalable data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in CS/DS/Statistics or related field.
• 8+ years as a data scientist with production AI/ML deployments.
• Strong AI/ML coding ability and use of AI coding tools.
• Experience with GenAI and LLMs.
• Expertise with AI/ML cloud technologies (AWS Bedrock, Lambda, SageMaker).
• Proficiency with Python data stack and SQL.
• Familiarity with data engineering, ETL, and APIs.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
• 8+ years of experience as a data scientist with a track record of deploying AI/ML production solutions
• Strong AI/ML coding ability and use of AI coding tools
• Experience with generative AI (GenAI) and LLMs
• Expertise in AI/ML cloud technologies (preferably AWS including Bedrock, Lambda, and SageMaker)
• Proficiency with Python data science stack (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL
• Familiarity with data engineering, ETL processes, and APIs
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
