Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking a coordinator to bridge between customers and internal departments to ensure smooth vehicle handovers while upholding the highest customer service standards. The role includes preparing the Vehicle Configuration Record, notifying customers of delays or changes, and offering a thorough overview of features and available warranties.

The successful candidate will liaise with sales and logistics, ensure proper documentation, and introduce customers to the service department

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of automobile sales gained through formal training or work experience.
• Attention to details and concern for quality.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with PDI department on vehicle readiness and schedule handover appointments with the sales department.
• Prepare a Vehicle Configuration Record prior to delivery of the vehicle.
• Liaise with the customer including notifications of delays or changes in requirements to ensure smooth handover.
• Ensure handover of a vehicle outside the company when required, maintaining high service standards.
• Explain vehicle features and innovations to new owners to improve customer experience.
• Inform customers about extras, accessories and warranties available.
• Promote customer service excellence to encourage future referrals or repeat sales.
• Introduce customers to the service department and coordinate with logistics for deliveries via recoveries.
• Maintain accurate records on delivery status and send daily reports of cars delivered to the line manager.
• Complete delivery documents and records (checklists, delivery notes, extended warranty) and register with sales administration.
• Work with a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Education

Degree in any discipline or automotive vocational route
