Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers to ensure quality.
• Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.
• Monitor portion sizes and stock of kitchen supplies.
• Inform service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching employees.
• Follow safety and security policies and report maintenance issues.
• Ensure professional appearance and confidentiality of information.
• Address guests’ service needs and communicate clearly.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
