Belgravia Contracting Company - BCC Gulf in Dubai is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to monitor budgets, costs, and forecasts for high-rise and mid-rise building projects. The role involves managing expenditures, coordinating with Project Managers and Finance, and delivering accurate cost information.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of UAE construction cost-control experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with ERP or cost-control systems.

Formación

• Experience in budgeting, cost reporting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Understanding of manpower planning and labour cost monitoring.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets.
• Experience with ERP or project cost-control systems is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor project budgets, actual costs, commitments and forecast final costs.
• Prepare regular cost reports, budget variance analysis and cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Track project expenditure, material costs, subcontractor payments and purchase commitments.
• Monitor manpower costs by tracking workforce deployment, labour utilization and productivity against plans.
• Identify variances and cost implications to the project management team.
• Identify cost overruns and budget risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor variations and change orders and assess their impact on costs.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement and Finance to ensure accurate cost information.
• Maintain cost records and provide regular updates on project financial performance.

• Monitor and control project manpower costs strong by tracking workforce deployment labour utilization and productivity against approved manpower plans and budgets
• Identify manpower variances and highlight their cost implications to the project management team
• Identify cost overruns and potential budget risks and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor variations and change orders and assess their impact on project costs
• Coordinate with Project Managers Quantity Surveyors Procurement and Finance teams to ensure accurate cost information
• Maintain cost records and provide regular updates to management on project financial performance
• Proven experience in high-rise and mid-rise building construction projects
• Minimum 4 years of UAE construction industry experience in a relevant cost control role
• Good knowledge of project budgeting, cost reporting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Understanding of manpower planning, labour cost monitoring and productivity tracking
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP or project cost-control systems is an advantage.
