Job summary

Dicetek LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced IT Operations Engineer to support core banking technology operations. The role focuses on maintaining availability, stability, performance and operational reliability of the core banking platform, its APIs and integration components through go-lives and steady-state support.

You will coordinate across infrastructure, platform engineering, application teams and external vendors, handle 24x7 incidents, batch scheduling and monitoring with tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related
• 5-10 years in IT operations or prod support in banking or regulated financial services
• Experience in core banking go-live, migration or major platform transformation
• Experience operating 24x7 mission-critical tech environments with high availability requirements
• Coordinating production support with vendors and MSPs

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, capacity, availability and performance of core banking systems in a 24x7 environment
• Respond to incidents, diagnose and escalate to platform engineering or vendors
• Lead or participate in major incident bridges and post-incident reviews
• Execute end-of-day, end-of-month and end-of-year batch processing and manage batch schedules (Control-M/Autosys)
• Coordinate with payments, cards, treasury and regulatory reporting teams to protect cut-off times
• Support production go-live, hypercare and transition to steady-state operations
