Job summary

Noatum Logistics, part of AD Ports Group, seeks an experienced logistics professional to oversee land freight operations within the Logistics Cluster. You will manage vehicle arrangements, drivers, routes, and records to support timely deliveries and efficient transport processes.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in logistics or supply chain, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and basic English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent; logistics or business administration qualifications are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics/business qualifications are a plus.
• Experience: 3–4 years in logistics or supply chain is preferred.
• Proficiency in English for basic communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Arrange vehicles upon request ensuring they meet required specifications.
• Inform drivers of tasks and follow up to ensure timely reporting.
• Obtain clear information about transportation needs before arranging vehicles.
• Minimize idle time, increase trip frequency, and ensure timely driver incentives and job closures.
• Plan routes, select transport modes, and track shipments for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Collaborate with service providers to ensure on-time delivery and efficient processes.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics, schedules, and delivery monitoring.
• Respond to customer inquiries and handle complaints efficiently.
• Maintain vehicle asset records and monitor fuel costs; prepare movement reports.
• Ensure driver and vehicle permissions and certifications are renewed as needed.

Job Purpose

Oversee the efficient operation of land freight activities within the Logistics Cluster. This role involves managing vehicle arrangements, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records to support the logistics team.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Arrange vehicles upon request, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
• Inform drivers of their tasks, provide correct information, and follow up to ensure timely reporting.
• Obtain clear information about transportation needs before arranging vehicles.
• Minimize vehicle idle time, increase trip frequency, and ensure timely submission of driver incentives and job closures.
• Plan transportation routes, select modes of transport, and track shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Work closely with service providers to ensure efficient execution of transportation processes and on-time delivery.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics, working schedules, and monitor delivery schedules.
• Respond to customer inquiries, follow up on deliveries, and handle complaints efficiently.
• Ensure timely renewal of required permissions and certifications for drivers and vehicles.
• Maintain vehicle asset records, monitor fuel costs, and prepare accurate reports on vehicle movements and performance.
• Bachelor or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or business administration are a plus.
