Job summary

Burj Line Builders is seeking a Control Room Operator - Autonomous Vehicles to monitor real-time vehicle status and coordinate incident responses in a fast-paced operations center in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong situational awareness, calm under pressure, clear communication, and proficient use of monitoring systems to support ground teams and ensure safe, efficient mobility operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a control room, command centre, fleet monitoring or similar operation.
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making ability.
• Ability to remain calm and focused during incidents or emergencies.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work with monitoring systems.
• Ability to follow escalation procedures accurately.
• Experience in transportation, automotive, logistics or mobility operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time operational status of autonomous vehicles.
• Identify and respond to traffic incidents, emergencies and operational incidents.
• Rapidly dispatch emergency work orders to relevant ground support teams.
• Coordinate on-site response activities with operational teams.
• Escalate incidents per established procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with ground teams during incidents.
• Execute map interruption processes per guidelines.
• Monitor incident progress through to resolution or escalation.
• Maintain records of incidents, actions and responses.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Control Room Operator - Autonomous Vehicles to monitor the operational status of autonomous vehicles and coordinate the appropriate response to incidents, accidents and other operational emergencies.

The position requires strong situational awareness, clear communication and the ability to respond quickly and accurately to developing situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the real-time operational status of autonomous vehicles.
• Identify and respond to traffic accidents, emergencies and operational incidents.
• Rapidly dispatch emergency work orders to relevant ground support teams.
• Coordinate on-site response activities with operational teams.
• Escalate incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with ground teams during incidents.
• Execute map interruption processes in accordance with operational guidelines.
• Monitor incident progress through to appropriate resolution or escalation.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions and responses.
• Follow established emergency response and operational procedures at all times.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a control room, command centre, emergency response centre, fleet monitoring environment or similar operation is preferred.
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making ability.
• Ability to remain calm and focused during incidents or emergencies.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work with monitoring systems.
• Ability to follow escalation procedures accurately.
• Experience within transportation, automotive, logistics or mobility operations would be advantageous.
