Job summary

TradesApp in Dubai is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Controller to monitor real-time vehicle status and coordinate rapid responses to incidents and emergencies.

You will work in a control-room environment, ensure clear communications with field teams, dispatch emergency work orders, and maintain records while following established procedures. Experience in fleet monitoring or transportation operations is a plus; strong situational awareness and calm decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a control room, command centre, emergency response or fleet monitoring environment preferred.
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and focused during incidents or emergencies.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work with monitoring systems.
• Experience within transportation, automotive, logistics or mobility operations advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the real-time operational status of autonomous vehicles.
• Identify and respond to traffic accidents, emergencies and operational incidents.
• Rapidly dispatch emergency work orders to relevant ground support teams.
• Coordinate on-site response activities with operational teams.
• Escalate incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with ground teams during incidents.
• Execute map interruption processes in accordance with operational guidelines.
• Monitor incident progress through to appropriate resolution or escalation.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions and responses.
• Follow established emergency response and operational procedures at all times.

The position requires strong situational awareness, clear communication and the ability to respond quickly and accurately to developing situations.

• Ability to follow escalation procedures accurately.
