The Consultant - Gastroenterology and Endoscopy will provide comprehensive specialist care for adults presenting with gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and related digestive disorders. The role combines outpatient consultation, inpatient management, diagnostic interpretation, endoscopic intervention, preventive guidance, and coordinated multidisciplinary decision-making. A significant part of the position involves endoscopy, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures where clinically appropriate. The consultant will work with surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, dietitians, nursing teams, and other specialists to develop integrated treatment plans and improve patient outcomes across complex digestive diseases.
Candidates should hold an MD, MBBS, or equivalent recognized medical qualification together with specialist training in Gastroenterology. Board Certification in Gastroenterology is required.
