Allocation Assist requires an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare organization in the region. The role focuses on diagnosing and managing GI and hepatobiliary disorders, performing advanced endoscopic procedures, and contributing to high clinical standards within a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in gastroenterology and endoscopy.
• SCFHS licensing or eligibility (where applicable).

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and manage patients with a wide range of GI conditions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, ERCP if applicable).
• Interpret imaging, laboratory results and endoscopic findings to develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consultations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, dietitians and other specialists for integrated patient care.
• Participate in on-call duties as required by the department.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with Saudi healthcare regulations.
• Contribute to departmental quality improvement, audits and patient safety initiatives.
• Support training and mentorship of junior doctors, residents, and allied health staff.
• Stay updated with advancements in gastroenterology and incorporate new techniques into practice.

• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced clinical environment
• Must hold or be eligible for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) licensing
