Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai invites an experienced Consultant Breast Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility. You will diagnose, manage, and surgically treat a broad range of breast conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds MBBS/MD, postgraduate General Surgery, and a Breast Surgery fellowship, with DHA license eligibility and strong clinical, communication, and team-working skills.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized institution
• Postgraduate General Surgery qualification
• Fellowship or advanced training in Breast Surgery desirable
• Eligible for DHA Consultant license
• Experience in benign and malignant breast care

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage benign and malignant breast conditions
• Conduct comprehensive breast consultations and exams
• Coordinate diagnostic investigations and imaging reviews
• Perform breast surgeries including conservation and mastectomy
• Collaborate with oncology and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide oncoplastic and reconstructive procedures when qualified
• Preoperative assessments and postoperative care
• Collaborate with radiologists, pathologists and oncologists
• Participate in multidisciplinary breast cancer meetings
• Counsel patients about diagnosis, options, risks, and outcomes
• Maintain documentation and comply with UAE regulations

We're Hiring | Consultant Breast Surgeon Location: Dubai Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Breast Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of benign and malignant breast conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive breast consultations and clinical examinations.
• Evaluate breast symptoms, abnormalities, and imaging findings, and coordinate appropriate diagnostic investigations.
• Perform breast surgical procedures, including breast-conserving surgery, mastectomy, and other procedures within the scope of practice.
• Manage patients with breast cancer in collaboration with oncology and multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform appropriate oncoplastic and reconstructive breast procedures where qualified.
• Provide surgical management of benign breast diseases, including breast lumps, abscesses, and other breast disorders.
• Conduct preoperative assessments and provide postoperative care and follow-up.
• Collaborate with radiologists, pathologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, plastic surgeons, and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary breast cancer meetings and contribute to individualized treatment planning.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and expected outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical teaching, and professional development activities where applicable.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in General Surgery , in accordance with applicable UAE licensing requirements.
• Additional fellowship or advanced training in Breast Surgery / Breast Surgical Oncology is highly desirable.
• Eligible for or holding a valid DHA Consultant license/eligibility in the relevant specialty.
• Demonstrated experience in breast surgery, including the management of benign and malignant breast conditions.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, surgical, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary breast cancer care team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
