Job summary

MOHAMMAD OMAR BIN HAIDER HOLDING GROUP P.S.C. seeks a proactive Health, Safety and Environment professional to lead risk assessments, audits and training at construction and manufacturing sites across the UAE.

You will develop policies, investigate incidents, ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safety culture through drills and campaigns. 3–5 years of relevant experience and NEBOSH/OSHA/ISO 45001 certifications are preferred; villa/building project experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001 certifications to validate expertise in safety management systems.
• 3–5 years of experience in safety roles within construction or manufacturing industries.
• Preference for candidates with experience in high‑risk environments.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages considered an asset for multicultural work environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to translate safety regulations into actionable policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits to identify workplace hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures tailored to the organization.
• Facilitate engaging safety training sessions for employees, ensuring understanding of protocols and best practices.
• Investigate incidents and accidents meticulously, preparing detailed reports to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Monitor and analyze safety metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries, fostering a culture of open communication.
• Organize and participate in safety drills and emergency response exercises to ensure preparedness.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in legislation to maintain relevant safety standards.
• Promote safety awareness through campaigns and initiatives that engage employees at all levels.
