Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee on-site safety operations and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves proactive hazard identification, risk mitigation, and fostering a culture of safety across projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Bachelor's in Occupational Health and Safety, NEBOSH 30-hour or equivalent, and at least 2 years of safety experience in construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas industries.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• NEBOSH 30-hour or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 2 years of safety experience in construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas industries.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations, proactively mitigating risks before incidents occur.
• Assist in the development and implementation of safety programs, policies, and procedures, contributing to a culture of safety from the ground up.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions, preventing future occurrences.
• Provide safety training and orientation to employees, fostering a safety-conscious workforce through engaging and informative sessions.

Education
