Job summary

GINCO Cont. Co. LLC is seeking an Operational Safety Supervisor to oversee daily site safety operations, ensuring all activities comply with approved risk assessments and HIRA. The role includes PTW administration, inductions, and incident reporting.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction safety, NEBOSH IGC, and OSHAD awareness, with a UAE driving license. Will coordinate drills and monitor subcontractor safety.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Science degree required.
• NEBOSH IGC certification.
• OSHAD Practitioner certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site safety operations in line with approved risk assessments (HIRA).
• Review and authorize daily PTWs, ensuring on-site safety controls.
• Conduct formal safety inductions for all new employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Respond to site accidents or near-misses; secure the scene, provide first response, draft flash reports.
• Coordinate periodic fire evacuation and emergency drills with the site team.
• Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and follow up on corrective actions.
• Oversee hazardous materials storage and compliance with environmental rules.

Job description

Operational Safety Supervision

Supervise daily site safety operations ensuring that all works proceed strictly in accordance with approved risk assessments HIRA

Permit to Work PTW Administration

Review and authorize daily PTWs hot work excavation lifting confined space after verifying on-site safety controls

Safety Induction Delivery

Conduct formal safety inductions for all new employees subcontractors and site visitors prior to issuing project access passes

Incident Reporting Initial Investigation

Respond immediately to any site accidents or near-misses secure the scene provide first response and draft incident flash reports

Emergency Drill Coordination

Coordinate periodic fire evacuation and emergency rescue drills in coordination with the site nurse and emergency team

Subcontractor Safety Oversight

Monitor subcontractor safety compliance conduct subcontractor safety coordination meetings and follow up on corrective actions

Environmental Monitoring

Oversee hazardous material storage diesel paints chemicals spill kits and compliance with local municipal environmental rules

Essential Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science; NEBOSH IGC certified; 5+ years construction safety experience.

Preferred Qualifications: IOSH Managing Safely / GradIOSH; OSHAD Practitioner certification.

Professional Licenses / Certifications: Valid UAE Driving License.

Required UAE / GCC Construction Experience: 5–8 years in UAE civil construction handling multi-story residential, luxury villas, and infrastructure projects.
