Job summary

You will manage subcontractors, drive corrective actions, and implement COSHH and hazard analyses while maintaining compliance with government regulations. A background with OSHA/NEBOSH and strong leadership will help promote a positive safety culture within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Health, Safety and Risk with proven field experience.
• Experience in HSE audits, incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of government health and safety regulations and COSHH.
• Strong leadership, crisis and conflict management skills.
• Certification: OSHA and NEBOSH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prevent ill health, injury and accidents at the workplace.
• Review and implement HSE plans and controls on sites.
• Manage subcontractors and report OH&S performance.
• Conduct risk assessments and monitor corrective actions.
• Issue permits for critical activities and ensure permit to work system.
• Lead safety training for staff and contractors.
• Perform HSE audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Drive continual improvement of safety management systems.
