Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks an experienced Safety Specialist to lead hazard assessments, develop programs, and ensure regulatory compliance across construction and manufacturing sites. You will investigate incidents, train staff, manage records, and collaborate with engineering and operations to embed safety into projects while promoting a proactive safety culture.

The role requires a Bachelor's in safety-related field, CSP/CIH/CHST certifications, and at least 5 years of progressive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
CSP, CIH, or CHST certifications.
Minimum 5 years of progressive safety experience in construction or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of OSHA and international safety standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct hazard assessments and risk analyses to identify dangers.
Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures.
Investigate incidents and near-misses, determine root causes and corrective actions.
Provide safety training across all levels to foster a proactive safety culture.
Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain safety records for audits.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and management to integrate safety into projects.
Lead safety committees and coordinate site safety orientations.
Monitor safety metrics and OSHA reporting; review submittals with subcontractors.
Conduct regular site safety inspections and assist with injury management.
