Job summary

STRUCTURAL in the UAE seeks a Project Manager based in Abu Dhabi with potential assignments in Dubai to lead complex repair and restoration projects. You will manage self-performed works and oversee contracts, schedules and project profitability.

Ideal candidates have 5–12 years in commercial construction/restoration, strong English communication, and the ability to mentor teams. Arabic language is preferred. Travel within the GCC is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Construction Management or related field.
• 5-12 years of relevant experience in commercial construction/restoration.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and technical writing.
• Ability to speak/write Arabic preferred.
• Proven ability to manage construction projects end-to-end.
• Experience with structural concrete repair, waterproofing, façade repair or historic restoration.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management/forecasting tools.
• Strong leadership to train and mentor teams.
• Team player with ability to manage multiple projects and ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage self-performed complex repair and restoration projects.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with internal teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules with field leadership.
• Maintain profit & loss responsibilities and other project financials.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to PMs, FM, PE and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with Estimators and Sales to review bids and develop proposals.
• Evaluate risk and loss exposure on managed projects.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and quality control on all projects.
