Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a Project Manager based in Abu Dhabi to lead self-performed repair and restoration projects across UAE, with occasional travel to Dubai. You will oversee schedules, budgets, safety, and quality while mentoring project teams and coordinating with estimators and sales on bids.

The role requires a Civil/Structural or construction management degree and 5–12 years in commercial construction or restoration, with strong English communication and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have a civil/structural or construction management background and strong project management skills.
• Experience leading complex repair/restoration construction projects is required.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage self-performed complex repair and restoration projects.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with contracts teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules with field leadership.
• Maintain profitability and track project financials.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with estimators and sales to review bids and proposals.
• Assess risk on managed projects and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure safety and quality control on all projects.

STRUCTURAL offers a wide range of specialty repair and maintenance services and is the largest concrete repair contractor in the United States, with roughly 4,500 employees working from locations nationwide and in select international markets. STRUCTURAL has been established in UAE since 2008 and has offices/operations in Qatar and KSA. We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to be based in our Abu Dhabi office. You could also support projects in Dubai. As a Project Manager for STRUCTURAL, you will be responsible for managing complex construction projects that make the structures of the UAE and GCC stronger and last longer.

Responsibilities

• Managing self-performed complex repair and restoration projects
• Preparing contracts and negotiating revisions while working with internal contracts teams as needed
• Developing and managing schedules in collaboration with field leadership
• Maintaining profit & loss responsibility as well as other project financials including projections, etc.
• Providing strong leadership, mentorship and supervision to Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers, and subcontractors
• Working closely with in-house Estimators and Sales teams to assist in reviewing bids and developing proposals
• Evaluating risk and loss exposure on projects managed
• Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Demonstrating dedication to safety and quality control on all projects

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal English communication and technical writing
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/construction management or related field of study
• 5-12 years of relevant experience within the Commercial construction and / or restoration industry
• Ability to speak and write in Arabic preferred
• Demonstrated capability to successfully manage construction projects
• Previous experience managing projects that include structural concrete repair, waterproofing, façade repair and/or historic restoration
• Proven knowledge of computer-based programs including Microsoft Office as well as project management and forecasting tools
• Strong leadership skills to effectively train and mentor others
• The ability to work effectively with a team
• Capable of managing multiple projects and ensuring successful and on-time delivery

Job location is in the UAE with flexibility to travel within the GCC
