Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a Construction Manager to be based in Dubai, UAE, providing field leadership across the region for concrete repair, cathodic protection, waterproofing and structural strengthening projects.

The successful candidate will coordinate with Project Managers and leaders, guide foremen and open-shop crews, plan pre-project activities, and ensure safe, on-time delivery while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 10 years of general construction with at least 5 years in a Foreman or Assistant Superintendent role.
• Experience in concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, corrosion control.
• Experience running 4 projects simultaneously in an industrial setting.
• Proven ability to supervise field managers and crews with minimal subcontract oversight.
• Ability to read and execute construction drawings and contract specifications.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to operating principles.
• Experience producing look-ahead schedules and using project documents.
• Strong communication with customers, crews and project teams.
• Intermediate computer skills and construction math.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with Project Managers, Division Managers and other leaders within STRUCTURAL GC&C.
• Participating in pre-project planning and disseminating details to field crews.
• Motivating teams and coordinating work across construction activities.
• Ensuring crews operate tools and equipment safely and productively.
• Providing training and assistance to crews.
• Assisting Project Managers in evaluating production rates.
• Completing essential paperwork clearly and accurately.
• Interviewing and hiring of new field employees.
• Providing leadership to our Safety 24/7 culture.
