Job summary

A leading engineering company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer - Piping to oversee the construction, installation, and maintenance of piping systems within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas with 5 years in the GCC region, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills. This position is full-time and offers a fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in Oil & Gas.
• Five (5) years of experience in similar position for international projects.
• Experience with major onshore projects.

Responsibilities

Construction Engineers - Piping

We are hiring an experienced Construction Engineer - Piping with a strong background in piping systems within the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction, installation, and maintenance of piping systems on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate piping construction activities on-site.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
• Review and approve piping designs, layouts, and schedules.
• Monitor project progress and resolve any technical or logistical issues.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain proper documentation and report to senior management.

Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in Oil & Gas (5) years in GCC region.
• Must have at least Five (5) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
• Experience with major onshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping materials, codes, and standards.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
