Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Commissioning Engineer to lead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for instrumentation and control systems on Oil & Gas projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of Gulf experience, with CFSE certification highly advantageous and immediate joining availability.

Qualifications

Job description

Lead and supervise the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for all instrumentation and control systems ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols.

Develop, review and approve detailed commissioning procedures, test packs and handover documentation for instrumentation equipment.

Coordinate with engineering, construction and operations teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of instrumentation systems.

Oversee the functional testing, calibration and loop checking of all instruments, control valves and associated control system components.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.

Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in instrumentation commissioning within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power generation industries.

Proven track record of successfully commissioning complex instrumentation and control systems (DCS, PLC, SIS).

Possession of relevant certifications such as CFSE (Certified Functional Safety Expert) is highly advantageous.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in construction (not design), Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred
• Clean-shaven policy applicable
• Candidates must be immediate joiners
• Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible

Age Criteria: Maximum age limit is 49 years

Managerial and SR. Positions: A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory
