Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY seeks an experienced piping commissioning professional to oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for piping systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

You will develop commissioning plans, supervise the team, and review documentation such as P IDs, isometrics, and test packs. Candidates should have 7–10 years of Gulf experience in oil & gas EPC projects and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 7–10 years of progressive piping pre-commissioning/commissioning experience.
• Gulf/ADNOC/EPC experience preferred.

• Oversee and direct all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for piping systems.
• Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans and schedules for piping systems coordinating with construction engineering and operations teams.
• Supervise and guide the commissioning team providing technical expertise and ensuring efficient execution of tasks.
• Review and approve all relevant documentation including P IDs, isometric drawings, material test certificates and test packs for piping systems.

Job description

• Supervise and guide the commissioning team providing technical expertise and ensuring efficient execution of tasks such as flushing, cleaning, hydrotesting and leak testing.
• Review and approve all relevant documentation including P IDs, isometric drawings, material test certificates and test packs for piping systems.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in piping pre-commissioning and commissioning within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation industries.
• Proven track record of successfully commissioning complex piping systems in large-scale projects.
• Certification in relevant areas such as CSWIP, API, or equivalent is highly advantageous.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in construction (not design), Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore.
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred.
• Clean-shaven policy applicable.
• Candidates must be immediate joiners.
• Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible.

Age Criteria

Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.

Managerial and SR. Positions

A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
