Job summary

S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY is seeking a senior Mechanical/Piping Supervisor for on-site installation activities in the oil & gas sector. You will oversee mechanical and piping works, ensure compliance with project specs and safety standards, and mentor a team of technicians and pipefitters.

You must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, with AWS/ASME certifications, and 5–7 years of Gulf or heavy-industry experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive mechanical & piping supervision experience in oil & gas / petrochemical / heavy industry.
• AWS, ASME or equivalent certifications demonstrate piping knowledge.
• Gulf/ADNOC experience preferred; immediate joiners required.

Job description

Oversee and direct all mechanical and piping installation activities on-site ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards. Supervise and mentor a team of mechanical technicians and pipefitters fostering a productive and collaborative work environment. Interpret complex engineering drawings, P IDs, and isometric drawings to guide installation and fabrication processes accurately. Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed installations to identify and rectify any deviations or quality issues. Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Hold relevant certifications such as AWS, ASME, or equivalent, demonstrating specialized piping knowledge. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in mechanical and piping supervision within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial sectors. Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication blueprints.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in construction (not design), Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred
• Clean-shaven policy applicable
• Candidates must be immediate joiners
• Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible

Age Criteria

Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience. Managerial and SR. Positions: A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
