Le Méridien Dubai Airport Road is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare ingredients, portion and store food, and ensure quality standards and safe food handling. You will operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, test for doneness, and maintain a clean, organized work station.

This full-time, non-management role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and adherence to safety policies.

Competenze

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.

Mansioni

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients; prepare cold foods.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test foods to determine if they are cooked sufficiently; monitor food quality.
• Set-up and break down work station; maintain cleanliness of kitchen area.
