Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or apprentice in hospitality.
• Completion of an accredited commercial cookery program or culinary apprenticeship.
• NVQ Level 1 in Food Preparation and Cooking (Level 2 is a plus).
• Certification in basic food hygiene or food safety.
• Strong passion for food and delivering high-quality dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes meeting Hilton standards.
• Manage guest orders and ensure timely service within guidelines.
• Maintain food quality, oversee stations, and perform quality checks.
• Prepare mise en place and manage inventory and requisitions.
• Support cost control through portioning and waste reduction.
• Keep preparation and service areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
• Adhere to health, safety, and regulatory standards across activities.
• Collaborate with team and other departments to hit targets.
