Responsibilities

• Contact appropriate department to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Use sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty; up-selling.
• Determine and award complements to guests (rewards points, show tickets, gift certificates).
• Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
• Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
• Handle all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information into the reservation system.
• Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, emailing, typing).
• Assist management in training and motivating employees; act as a role model.
• Follow policies; maintain professional appearance; protect confidential information; protect assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate and address service needs; show genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally; prepare written documents; answer telephones with proper etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach goals; listen to concerns.
• Monitor performance to ensure quality adherence.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
