Job summary

Rotana in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Cluster Director of Information Technology to lead IT operations across hotels. You will oversee hardware servicing, license management, inventory, and the IT service desk to ensure seamless guest experiences.

The role requires a degree in information technology and prior similar experience. You will monitor system performance, test software changes, document procedures, and report activities to Corporate IT leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in information technology field.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality IT.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for servicing computer PC hardware.
• Maintain licenses for all software and ensure coverage by maintenance contracts.
• Maintain a sufficient inventory of computer-related supplies.
• Maintain a log of computer hardware and service calls on hardware.
• Manage configuration records, program files and data files on the computer system.
• Monitor software performance and maintain logs of performance reports and issues.
• Install and test corporate-approved program changes to hotel computer systems.
• Investigate and report software problems to vendor or MIS regional/office.
• Train selected hotel employees to take on major system management responsibilities.
• Maintain technical and user documentation, system reports and newsletters.
• Complete and distribute a monthly activities report to Corporate Vice President - Information Technology

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary contact for all servicing of computer PC hardware
• Maintain licenses for all software and ensure that all systems are covered by the proper maintenance contacts
• Maintain a sufficient inventory of computer related supplies
• Maintain a log of all computer hardware and a log of all services calls on computer hardware

You should have a degree in the information technology field and previous experiences in a similar role along with a proven knowledge on all IT related sectors.
