Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing, a valid DHA license, at least 5 years of nursing experience with 2 years in supervision, and experience supervising teams in clinic or hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing is required.
• Valid DHA Registered Nurse License is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role such as Charge Nurse, Head Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, Nursing Team Leader, or Nursing Coordinator.
• Previous experience supervising nursing teams in a clinic, polyclinic, outpatient, or hospital environment.
• Strong knowledge of DHA standards, infection control, clinical governance, and nursing compliance requirements.
• Experience in a multi‑specialty outpatient clinic is highly desirable.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are desirable.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and support nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily nursing activities and ensure clinic operations run smoothly across assigned areas.
• Coordinate nursing assignments, staff schedules, patient flow, and resource allocation during daily clinic activity.
• Lead, mentor, and guide nursing team members to maintain consistent clinical standards and professional conduct.
• Monitor patient care delivery and ensure nursing services are provided safely, respectfully, and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, HealthHub clinical policies, infection control standards, and nursing protocols.
• Support physicians and multidisciplinary teams by coordinating nursing support during consultations, procedures, and patient follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and oversee correct recordkeeping by nursing staff.
• Identify gaps in nursing practice and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in audits, accreditation activities, clinical governance reviews, and staff competency assessments.
• Support clinic management in achieving operational, quality, safety, and patient satisfaction targets.
• Help maintain safe patient movement across reception, consultation, treatment, procedure, and follow‑up areas.
• Guide nurses on infection prevention, clinical documentation, patient communication, and safe care practices.
• Escalate clinical, operational, or staffing concerns to clinic management when required.
• Act as a professional role model for patient‑centred care, ethical nursing practice, and teamwork.
• Support staff development through coaching, feedback, practical guidance, and performance follow‑up.
• Maintain readiness for regulatory inspections, internal reviews, and accreditation‑related nursing requirements.
• Promote a calm, organized, and service‑focused clinic environment during peak patient periods.
