Job summary

RTC-1 Employment Services is seeking a Civil Site Engineer for residential projects in Dubai. You will supervise multi-storey construction (G+4 and above), coordinate with MEP, architecture and structure teams, and ensure works meet drawings, specs and schedule.

Requirements: Civil Engineering degree and 3–5 years on-site experience with main contractors or residential developers; strong knowledge of RCC, formwork, reinforcement and finishing works; capable of reading drawings.

• 3–5 years of hands-on site execution experience in building construction.
• Experience on multi-storey residential projects G+4 and above with direct supervision.
• Must have worked with a main contractor or residential developer on site.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Supervise and execute daily civil and structural works for multi-storey residential/apartment buildings (G+6 and above), including excavation, foundations, RCC structure, blockwork, waterproofing, plastering, screeding and finishing works.
• Manage day-to-day site activities, subcontractors, manpower, materials and work sequencing, ensuring works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and construction programme.
• Coordinate closely with MEP, architectural, structural and finishing teams, identifying and resolving site clashes, technical issues and construction constraints to prevent delays and rework.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks, coordinate consultant inspections and approvals, RFIs, snagging/de-snagging and handover, while maintaining required quality, safety and productivity standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, with minimum 3–5 years of hands-on site execution experience in building construction.
• Proven site experience on multi-storey residential/apartment building projects of G+4 and above; candidates must have directly supervised residential building construction works on site.
• Strong practical knowledge of RCC/formwork/rebar/concrete, blockwork, waterproofing, plastering, screeding and architectural finishing works, with excellent ability to read structural and architectural drawings.
• Must come from a main contractor, building contractor or residential developer. Candidates predominantly experienced in villas, roads/infrastructure, utilities, industrial projects, FM/maintenance or fit-out-only works will not be considered.
