Job summary

Galfar Engineering and Contracting WLL Emirates in Abu Dhabi seeks a Civil Estimation professional to support tendering for ADNOC, infrastructure and utilities projects. You will perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost estimates, BOQs and rate analyses, and coordinate with engineering and commercial teams to ensure competitive submissions.

Responsibilities include reviewing RFT/ITT documents, preparing technical and commercial queries, and supporting EPC/construction/modification bids.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering qualification and 5–8 years in civil estimation and proposal prep.
• At least 2 years site or quantity surveying experience in Oil & Gas, ADNOC, infra or utilities.
• Exposure to upstream, midstream and downstream oil & gas projects incl. Greenfield, Brownfield, pipelines and process plants.
• Strong knowledge of take-offs, BOQ preparation, rate analysis and tendering procedures.
• Proficient in estimation software; SAP knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Civil Estimation Manager in preparing proposals for tenders and projects; review RFT/ITT documents, ADNOC specs, scope of work and contractual requirements.
• Prepare technical, contractual and commercial queries and participate in site visits and tender clarification meetings.
• Perform quantity take-offs and validate quantities using engineering drawings, plot plans and BOQs.
• Prepare cost estimates, rate analyses and cost sheets covering manpower, equipment, machinery, subcontractors, productivity norms and man-hours.
• Float RFQs, obtain vendor/subcontractor quotations, prepare comparison statements and recommend suitable bidders.
• Identify and summarize project risks, assumptions, exclusions and contingencies.
• Support technical and commercial proposal preparation for EPC, construction, modification and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning and Commercial teams to ensure accurate and competitive tender submissions.
