Job summary

Parsons in Dubai seeks a Civil Engineer specializing in storm networks and micro tunneling. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and at least eight years of infrastructure project experience are required, with Micro tunneling or trenchless technology experience and Dubai exposure preferred.

You will oversee site activities, ensure compliance with documents and authorities, review submissions, coordinate with the Resident Engineer, monitor resources, emphasize safety, and support project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of infrastructure project experience.
• Experience in micro tunneling, pipe jacking or trenchless tech is mandatory.
• Dubai experience is preferred.
• Experience in fast-track projects is preferred.
• Proficient with computer software.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow up construction activities at site.
• Ensure Contractor’s adherence to documents and regulations.
• Review Contractor submissions (shop drawings, materials, RFI, etc.).
• Provide on-site direction.
• Support in supervising site inspection staff per Resident Engineer/ARE.
• Check the measure of work done.
• Observe site safety practices.
• Report to the Resident Engineer/ARE.
• Monitor contractor’s resource allocation.
• Assist in reviewing project close-out documents.
• Act in health and safety on site as required by Resident Engineer/ARE.
• Perform other responsibilities as required.

Civil Engineer (Storm network and Micro Tunneling)

What you'll be doing:

• Follow up construction activities at site.

• Ensure the Contractor’s adherence to Construction documents and latest Authorities’ regulations.

• Assist in reviewing Contractor’s Submissions (shop drawings, Materials, RFI, etc.).

• Provide all necessary on-site direction.

• Support in supervising site inspection staff as per Resident Engineer/ARE’s directions.

• Check measure of work done.

• Observe site safety practices.

• Report back as necessary to the Resident Engineer/ARE.

• Monitor contractor’s resource allocation.

• Assist in reviewing the project’s close out documents.

• Act positively, and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer/ARE, and project Safety Representative.

• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What required skills you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is a must.

• Minimum 8 years of work experience with infrastructure projects. Experience in construction and supervision of Micro tunneling , pipe Jacking or trenchless technology projects is mandatory.

• Dubai experience is preferred.
