Job summary

Parsons invites a highly skilled Assistant Resident Engineer – MEP (Stormwater) to Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will support the supervision of stormwater pump stations, overseeing mechanical and electrical systems, testing, and commissioning while ensuring compliance with drawings and standards.

You will review contractor submissions, coordinate inspections and handover activities, and maintain reporting with stakeholders. A strong background in MEP and stormwater projects is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with strong infrastructure project exposure.
• Strong knowledge of Stormwater pump station systems, testing/commissioning processes, and construction supervision practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Resident Engineer in day-to-day supervision of MEP works for stormwater pump stations.
• Monitor installation of mechanical and electrical systems (pumps, piping/valves, electrical equipment, controls/instrumentation) per drawings and specs.
• Review contractor submissions including method statements, ITPs, shop drawings, and material submittals; follow up closures.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, pre-commissioning/commissioning activities, and handover documentation and permits/approvals.
• Monitor progress and quality, manage NCRs/technical queries, and coordinate with stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing:
