Job summary

GMA MARBEL TILES & FLOORING TRADING L.L.C. in Dubai seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead natural stone projects from planning to handover.

You will plan, coordinate site visits, review drawings and BOQs, and manage stone installations of marble, travertine, limestone and quartzite. The candidate should hold a Civil Engineering qualification with 5–10 years of marble or fit-out experience, and be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in marble/natural stone or fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of stone fabrication and installation.
• Experience in shop drawings and site measurements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee natural stone projects from start to completion.
• Site Inspection: Conduct site visits, verify measurements, and assess site readiness.
• Technical Coordination: Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and coordinate shop drawings and approvals.
• Material Procurement: Coordinate stone selection, material availability, and delivery schedules.
• Production Coordination: Supervise fabrication schedules, cutting, finishing, and quality checks.
• Installation Supervision: Manage site teams and ensure proper installation of marble, travertine, limestone, and quartzite.
• Quality Control: Ensure materials and workmanship meet approved specifications and quality standards.
• Cost and Budget Control: Monitor project costs, material wastage, labour, and variations.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate with QS, sales, procurement, factory, and site teams.
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and safe material handling.
• Progress Reporting: Monitor project timelines, report progress, and resolve delays.
• Project Handover: Manage snagging, rectification, final inspections, and handover documentation.

7. UAE construction experience and a valid UAE driving licence preferred.
